Naval Architect Technologist / Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM)
This is a hybrid position that can be located in Malahat BC.
Canada is looking for a Naval Architect Technologist / Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM) to support its Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The Naval Architect Technologist / LCMM is responsible for engineering and technical oversight of various hull systems and fittings on board the AOPS and JSS class ships. Accountable to the Engineering Services Manager and working directly with the Engineering and Supportability Team, this role will support various naval architecture activities to establish and maintain the configuration and design intent of the ship's hull systems and fittings and support any changes.
The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge and expertise in hull systems and equipment to provide subject matter expertise and become the main point of contact for all technical matters associated with the systems assigned thereto.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2-year Technical Diploma in Naval Architecture or other marine technical field offered by a recognized technical institute; or
Certified as one of the following trades of the Canadian Armed Forces:Marine Technician RQ-PO1 or RQ-PO2
QL7 Marine Engineer
QL 6A or 6B Hull Technician

Special Position Requirements
The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is 76,208.54 - 101,611.38 - 128,924.64 CAD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, provincial, and federal laws.
