Production Manager (Project Management)
Position Summary
This is an on-site position in Burlington.
As a Production Manager on the Personalization Production team, you will manage the direction and results of operations at the Burlington personalization facility in accordance with senior management policies and plans.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead production team to achieve KPI targets related to output, overall equipment efficiency, service level agreements, healthy attendance, effective and efficient productivity rate, zero safety and security breaches and zero non-conformance on certification requirements
Collaborate with Customer Service Management and Operations teams to ensure regular communication
Proactively understand customer needs and operational concerns and ensure that customer updates or requests are communicated
Lead environment that promotes cohesive operations by working with internal customers and partners to ensure smooth customer product introduction, cost optimization and increased services from the facility
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of I–Care and non-conformity relating to the product, process and quality system
Streamline goal setting and achievements for team members by utilizing defined feedback methods
Support Process Team Coaches in the development of collaborative, autonomous teams, focused self-directed understanding and improving processes
Lead special projects as specified
Actively support ISO9001, ISO45001, PCI certifications and 5S Strategy
Perform other duties as assigned
Plan, delegate and control work assignments
Review salaries / wages of others and recommend changes as appropriate
Recommend new hires, promotions, transfers, demotions, disciplinary action and termination of employment
Conduct performance reviews
Have managerial level responsibilities for a clearly identifiable program / department
Accountable for measuring and improving productivity, managing cost (minimize OT), achieving SLA's ensure adequate capacity limits and support deployment of 5S lean manufacturing
Define training planning in partnership with the TWI certified instructors and develop Process Team Coach, Lead and Operators skills set.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field
3-5 year's management experience working in a manufacturing environment
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
An understanding of Quality and security standards in the Perso environment
Experience with production and operations planning and strategic managerial skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
