Senior Product Data Specialist (Project Management)
As a Senior Product Data Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all product-related data within the organization is accurate, consistent, well organized, and optimized for e-commerce platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of product data management, taxonomy, and product content strategy to enhance product discoverability, sales conversion, and boost customer satisfaction.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:
Data Modeling and Design: Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date product information structures and hierarchies; manage bulk uploads/updates using tools like Excel and PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
Data Governance Frameworks: Establishing rules, best practices, and quality standards for managing product data integrity across systems.
Product Data Management: Oversee the continuous improvement of data processes, including product data entry, validation, and reporting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website product content, driving conversions while balancing SEO demands with sustainable and organized data management of website content.
Ensure that product categorizations, filters, and attributes on the e-commerce website are optimized to support customer search behaviors and comply with industry standards.
Lead or support product data-related projects, coordinating with IT, development teams, and external partners as needed.
What we're looking for:
3 to 5 years of experience in product data management, data governance, or a similar role in eCommerce or a related industry.
Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and design and implementing scalable and maintainable data structures.
Experience in creating and managing data governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of product data.
Familiarity with PIM, DAM, CMS, and ERP systems, with experience managing and improving workflows and integrations.
Strong understanding of product data feeds, API integrations, and e-commerce standards.
Proficient in cleaning, analyzing, and mining data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, drive initiatives, and champion best practices for data management.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across departments.

Annualized base pay range
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
