Accounting Clerk
Intertek is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in our Montreal office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Finance!
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for Coordinating the process of our account's payable invoices.
What you'll do:
· Manage the AP mailbox
· Review the received invoices for compliance and send them to the AP outsourcing team
· Ensure that all invoices sent to the AP Outsourced Team are process and approved in a timely fashion
· Request the creation of new vendor providing all information to the vendor team and following up until vendor is available
· Help with processing Journal entries especially during month end
What it takes to be successful in this role:
· College degree in accounting or business administration
· 3 to 6 month experience in an accounting department
· Good knowledge of Excel
· Ability to communicate in French and English
