Position Summary
Thales Canada is looking for a Marine Mechanical Systems Technical Specialist / Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM) to support its Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The Marine Mechanical Systems Technical Specialist / LCMM is responsible for engineering support and technical oversight of various Marine Propulsion, Steering, Auxiliary and other mechanical systems on board the various platforms of the Royal Canadian Navy. Accountable to the Engineering Services Manager and working directly with the Mechanical Services Engineer and the rest of the Engineering and Supportability Team, this role will support various activities to establish and maintain the configuration and design intent of the marine auxiliary and other mechanical systems on the ships and manage any changes.
The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge and expertise in marine auxiliary and mechanical systems and equipment to provide subject matter expertise and become the main point of contact for all technical matters associated with the systems assigned thereto.
