Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the team as a Terminal Operator to contribute to the organization's value creation capabilities. Our terminal is located in Watson, SK which is an integral part of our production and terminal system serving the important agricultural area in Canada. This facility has the capability to load and off - load a variety of products via truck and rail service.

What You Will Do
- Safe and efficient loading and offloading of trucks and offloading of rail cars with a variety of finished products for distribution
- Work with Terminal Leader to ensure maintenance decisions are guided by cat-ranking process and effective use of Decision Making Framework.
- Equipment is maintained in good operational condition in a cost effective manner
- Work with qualified suppliers to ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/or capability of the terminal
- Assist in project execution at the terminal and provide timely feedback on progress to key stakeholders
- Lead by example by personally promoting EH&S (Environmental Health and Safety)
- Ensure any non-compliant actions or attitudes are addressed quickly and coordinated with appropriate capability leaders
- Ensure all employees and contractors are trained on KFCU processes and on the importance of safety and environmental compliance
- Provide emergency assistance with rail unloading and truck loading/unloading in peak demand times at both the Tuxford and Watson SK locations.
- Take ownership to ensure that all work is being done safely and efficiently
- Adhering to all in-place safety measures and procedures
- May be required to assist with other aspects of plant operations
- Housekeeping of terminal site including site clean up and cleaning of equipment
- Fulfill training requirements utilizing Virtual Training Assistant
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must hold a valid drivers license
- Experience with loaders and railway equipment
- Experience working with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to access ladders and stairs at heights in excess of 50 feet.
- Must be available for and willing to work shift work and work weekends
- Must be willing and able to work in outdoor work environments of all types of weather
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing plant environment and capable of following all plant policies and procedures as related to the position
- Must be able and willing to work on the road for short periods of time
- Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
