LCMM – Marine Electrical Specialist
Position Summary
Thales Canada is looking for a Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM) - Marine Electrical Specialist to support its non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The LCMM – Marine Electrical Specialist is responsible for engineering support and technical oversight of Electrical Systems including but not limited to Power Generation, Distribution, Propulsion, Electronic, Automation and Controls Systems. Accountable to the Technical Services Delivery Manager and working directly with various internal and external stakeholders, this role manages various activities to establish and maintain the configuration and design intent of electrical systems and equipment through their end-of-life and divestment.
The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge and expertise in marine electrical systems and equipment to become a subject matter expert and main point of contact for all technical matters associated with the systems assigned thereto. The principal objective is to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, while minimizing the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) associated with the support of their systems.
